Waist High Gardening Puts Gardening Within Reach

It’s early spring and I wanted to take a moment to show you how easy it is to plant peas in GardenRack, the waist high raised bed gardening system. If you think you need acres of land and miles of pea fence to have a great spring pea crop, I have another solution for you.

I’m about to plant peas into GardenRack. I soaked them overnight to soften the hard outer shell. That way they’ll germinate better and you’ll get more pea vines.

All I’m going to do is run my finger in the soil just under the trellis. Make sure it’s about half an inch deep or so. Then just drop in the pea seeds and sow them thickly. You want to put a lot of peas in the dirt as some won’t germinate and, this way, you’ll still have lots of vines.

Once you’ve planted the pea seeds just cover with soil and water in. If you find that they’re poking their heads through the soil after a hard rain, just push them back down with your finger and you’ll be good to go.

If you’ve stopped gardening because you can no longer bend or kneel, or you’ve downsized from a large house to a smaller one and don’t have much room for a garden, GardenRack is for you. To learn more about GardenRack, visit http://www.garden-rack.com.
